하와이 신종코로나 확진자 발생 투숙 호텔 확인

우리의 청정지역 하와이에 일본으로 돌아간 일본인관광객이 코로나 확진 판정을 받았습니다.

이 일본인관광객은 하와이에 약 열흘간 머물렀다고 합니다.

마우이에 있을때는 증상이 전혀 없었고, 오아후에 묵었을때 가벼운 감기 증상이 나타나기 시작하여

• 7일 귀국편 탑승
• 8일 발열
• 10일 폐렴진단
• 13일 응급실통한 입원
• 14일 확진이며
• 15일 부인도 확진 받았습니다.

 

 

때문에 잠복기 까지 생각 한다면 일본에 걸려서 하와이를 갔는지, 하와이에서 걸렸는지는 애매한 상황입니다. 그러나 현 시국 하와이에 한명의 확진자도 없었고, 일본이 감염경로를 알 수 없는 확진자가 생기고 있는 걸로 보아 조심스레 일본에서 미리 걸렸던게 아닌가 생각 해봅니다.

 

아래 하와이 신문 기사의 내용으로는 일본인 확진자는 힐튼 하와이안 빌리지 내 그랜드 와이키키안 바이 힐튼 그랜드 베케이션 동에 머물렀습니다.

현재도 DOH에서 일본인 확진자 경로를 추적 중이라고 합니다. 아직은 일본인 확진자와 밀접 접촉자는 없는 거 같다고 말하고 있습니다

그 외에 접촉 가능성이 있는 경우도 감염 위험성은 낮거나 없다 라고하네요.

일본 관광객은 하와이에선 따로 의료기관을 방문하지 않았고, 귀국시에는 마스크를 착용한것 정도의 내용입니다. 귀국시에는 마스크 착용을 했다면 관광중에도 착용을 하지 않았을까 싶네요

마우이에서는 증상을 보이지 않았고, 또 전염 가능성도 없다고 발표했구요.

다만 이번 일본인 확진자와 관계된 것은 아닌거 같다고 합니다.

HONOLULU - The state provides more details about the Japanese man who tested posted for coronavirus after visiting Hawaii. Right now, the state Department of Health says it hasn't identified anyone in Hawaii as a close contact.

The DOH and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continue to gather facts and interview people who may have come in contact with the man. He arrived in Hawaii on January 28th and began experiencing cold-like symptoms with no fever on February 3rd. He returned to Japan on February 7th.

DOH says people he came into casual contact with were found to be at low or no risk of contracting the illness - and none are under public health supervision. "DOH has been actively gathering facts and interviewing individuals, however information available on the visitors’ travel is limited," said spokesperson Janice Okubo.

While traveling on Oahu, the individual stayed with his wife at a timeshare at the Grand Wakikian by Hilton Grand Vacations. The individual did not seek medical care in Hawaii and may have worn a mask during parts of his travel. DOH was informed that the individual wore a mask during his flight back to Japan. Using an mask when you are ill can protect others from becoming infected.

“The Department of Health has been expecting and preparing for identifying a travel-related case in Hawaii because of the widespread outbreak in China and other areas of the world. The state is more than ready with aggressive control and prevention measures as we work closely with our medical community and response partners,” said Health Director Bruce Anderson. “We are committed to keeping the public fully informed and will continue to provide updates as this situation unfolds.”

“The individual had no symptoms while on Maui and was not contagious,” said Dr. Sarah Park, state epidemiologist. “There is no increased risk on Maui from possible exposure. On Oahu, the individual had cold-like symptoms with no fever. I have alerted physicians that it’s possible that cases may surface sometime before Feb. 21 because the onset of illness is generally within 14 days.”

Currently, the state says there are no cases of COVID-19 identified in Hawaii. One person is under quarantine in the state, and 58 people are being monitored for the illness locally.
